# Voting options

Communities are able to choose their own voting systems:

* Single-choice voting: Allows a user to select only one option with 100% voting power.
* Approval voting: Allows a user to select several options, and each option has the same voting power of 100%.
* Weighted voting: Allows a user to spread their voting power across any number of choices, from one to all.
* Basic voting: Allows a user to select between a yes or no choice.
